Mary Amato writes fiction for all ages. She is best known for her 18 works of fiction for young adults and children, including Guitar Notes, and Edgar Allan’s Official Crime Investigation Notebook. She teaches extensively around the U.S. and has two new books out:

• Open Mic Night at Westminster Cemetery, a YA/Adult crossover about a 16-year-old poet who hosts an open mic for old ghosts at a Baltimore Cemetery;

• and a new chapter book, News from Me, Lucy McGee, about a funny young songwriter named Lucy McGee.
