About the Bookstore
Hooray for Books! is an independently-owned bookstore located in Old Town Alexandria, VA. Founded in 2008, we are a specialty children’s bookstore that has expanded to include an adult and YA section.
As a favorite neighborhood gathering place, we host a weekly story time that brings in dozens of kids and parents, plus an adult book club.
