Join us for story time the first Friday of the month with CARE Actor and AWAKEN CREATIVITY! In addition to reading a featured book, children will be encouraged to sing songs, play theatre games, and act out the story.

This month we will be reading The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle, Bugs Galore by Peter Stein and Diary of a Fly by Doreen Cronin.

Recommended for readers ages 2 and up.

ABOUT CARE ACTOR

The CARE Actor program encourages youth, ages 2-15 years old, to open up their minds and let loose their imaginations through theater arts. Our central focus is to awaken creativity, a bedrock from which a child can tap into his or her full potential. Becoming more creative lets children build confidence, courage, and character. We also believe in the power of theater arts to create community by bringing students together. Students develop team building and problem solving skills as they work towards a common goal. While performance may be the end result, it is the process that enriches us.
